Frequently Asked Questions
How soon can I get my prescription after signing up?
You’ll be able to schedule your RX visit right away. We reserve dedicated time in her schedule, so most patients are seen within just a few days.
During that appointment, your prescription will be finalized, we will walk you through how to use it, and map out your support schedule. Your care timeline begins immediately.
Note:
Right after you sign up, you’ll receive a couple of forms — including one to choose the compounding pharmacy where your prescription will be sent. Please complete these promptly so we can get your RX to the right place without delay.
Can I switch practitioners?
Yes. You can choose a different practitioner when you enroll in the hormone program and again at your annual renewal, but not mid-term.
For example, if you saw Dr. Ginsberg for your initial consults, you can start the hormone program with Sherry Webber (or the other way around). You just can’t switch providers mid-year.
How long will my FemCare Credit last?
We’ll hold your spot in the Hormone Care Program for 48 hours, and your FemCare Credit discount is valid during that time.
After 48 hours, we open enrollment to new patients. Because this is such a high-touch program, we can only work with a limited number of patients each year.
What happens if I start with progesterone and need estrogen later?
Progesterone therapy usually takes about 3 months to fully settle in. During this time, sleep often improves, which in turn supports mood, energy, and other systems. It’s normal to need some patience as your body adjusts.
If you’re still not feeling good at your 3-month follow-up, we can make adjustments if needed. And over the course of the year, depending on where you are in perimenopause, that may include adding estrogen if symptoms persist or if new ones develop.
That’s exactly why your program includes on-demand phone calls and email check-ins — so you have support and guidance as your body adapts to this new normal.
What if I think I need a medication adjustment?
That’s why this program is built with flexible support. Over the course of the year, you’ll have:
At least two on-demand phone calls — your lifeline if you feel off, need dosing adjustments, or want guidance.
Email check-ins where we will reach out to see how you’re doing.
Follow-up visits (3-month, and for Precision Plus members, also at 6 months) to fine-tune your care plan.
If at any point you feel you need an adjustment, don’t wait — reach out. This is a partnership, and together we’ll keep your treatment aligned with your body as it changes.
What should I expect from my Progress Check-In emails?
You’ll get an email from your practitioner at key points in your program, with a few simple questions to see how you’re doing. When you reply, she’ll review your answers and follow up with care notes or next steps.
Just a quick note: this isn’t a back-and-forth email thread. It’s a structured check-in designed to keep your care on track—without overwhelm.

Can I use insurance or HSA/FSA to help with costs?
Yes. While our practice is fully out-of-network, we’re happy to provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement. Many patients also use HSA or FSA funds—just check with your provider to confirm coverage.
